When you'll hear from us

Flood Stage
858.0+ ft — At or above flood stage
Rising: follow Manitoba provincial emergency guidance at manitoba.ca/floodinfo/
Easing: keep protection in place until clearly below 858.0 ft.
Critical
857.0–858.0 ft — Approaching flood stage
Rising: full sandbagging, coordinate with RM of Ochre River.
Easing: below flood stage — hold sandbagging in place, wind can still push water ashore.
High
856.5–857.0 ft — Road impacts possible
Rising: move vehicles to high ground, monitor RM communications.
Easing: roads draining, but shoulders stay soft — leave protection up.
Elevated
855.5–856.5 ft — Low-lying flooding possible
Rising: sandbag vulnerable low points now.
Easing: leave low-point sandbags until the ground drains.
Advisory
854.8–855.5 ft — Above operating range
Rising: confirm sandbag supply is ready.
Easing: leave supplies staged.
Watch
854.0–854.8 ft — Approaching operating range
Rising: check sump pumps and drainage paths.
Easing: nothing needed.
Normal
Below 854.0 ft — Within normal operating range
No action needed. Monitoring continues.
